The Importance of Art

Tax dollars should definitely go to art classes too, its nether less or more important than sports, thats the students choice, for example i like sports better than arts but that does not meant art classes should not get the same amount of resources, maybe students dream is to edit movies or music industry or actors, they deserve the same kind of treatment as a student that dreams to be a football player or soccer or any sport, for those reasons and many others i completely disagree with this quote;

"Tax dollars should not be wasted on art, music or theater classes in high school. Public high schools should be about training young people to enter the workforce. Period."
